 Meet Altaf Maaneshia, the first Pakistani designer based in New York City, to show at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.

"Inspired by Dolce Gabbana and the late Alexander McQueen, Maaneshia aims to merge high-end couture and contemporary fashion together in a fusion.  I his Fall/Winter collection, Maaneshia created neat and clean looks that are dual-functional for professional settings into nighttime.  The outfits are bold, using geometrical angles, and he's known to mix fabrics such as leather and wool, in addition to tweed, silk, taffeta and silver accessories."

Very excited to see his latest creations at Mercedes-Benz Fashion New York Fashion Week 2014 on Friday. If you are here for fashion week, this is not one to miss.

a new adventure begins.

As this adventure ends, a new one most certainly begins.  In these past three years, I moved to Boston only knowing one friend, I then met a boy, fell in love, found what most call your first "real job" and got to travel the world, realized that boy wasn't the one and best of all met some of the most amazing people that I can say will be a part of my world for the rest of my life.  Although I know I will miss some things here, I just know there are better things to come. So hello New York, I'm excited to see what you have to offer me or better yet, what I can offer you.
