Gettin' Fancy.

Trying to throw together a quick little something for girls night?  Try this! It's so simple yet so chic, your friends will think your all kinds of fancy.

 

What you will need:

- Camembert cheese
- 1 sweet onion
- butter or olive oil
- salt
- Fig jam
- baguette

1.  Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

1.  Start by slicing a sweet onion and adding it to a pan on medium-high heat with a tablespoon of butter or olive oil.  After about 10 minutes, turn the heat down and throw in a pinch of salt for flavor.  Continue to stir and saute until onions start to brown and get all caramelized. 

2. Next, place the Camembert cheese in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until it's nice, bubbly and melted on the inside.

3.  After everything is ready, set it up on your favorite serving dish.

4.  Layer everything on your sliced baguette and you will have yourself one of the tastiest treats you've had in a very long time.

Just chillin'

Not sure what to do when British Airways cancels your flight and doesn't rebook you until 5 hours later? Well, you order a bottle of Rose of course.  It's always great when the waitress stares down at you and asks, "And how many glasses shall I bring?"

The last day in London cannot be complete without a last minute shopping trip to one of my fave shops, Aida, in Shoreditch. A newly purchased Olivia Burton watch was a must!

WAH-mazing is more like it!  These little puppies were just done at +Boxpark Shoreditch. If you haven't had the chance to get your nails did lately, this photo tells you it's about time you do something about this ladies! Think outside the BOX, get creative!

Just Do It...

And so it begins... What a better way to start, as I've just landed in London! It hasn't been more than 24 hours and the major finds have already begun.

So it's a terrible quintessential "selfie" iPhone photo, what's a gal to do when she's always traveling alone and doesn't have some amazing photographer following her around like a little puppy dog....Exactly.  On display is this amazing over-sized light weight trench found at a hidden little shop I probably walked by a dozen times before actually going in.

It's too easy to pair with anything and everything in your closet right now. Go dressy with it or slip it on with your skinnys and black-on-black Converse.  Enough said, do it, I did...
